What does LDA ✔️✔️ mean?

For alcohol brands, LDA compliance is an essential part of vetting potential Creator partners. Verifying that at least 71.6% of a Creator’s audience is above the legal purchasing age can be a time-consuming process, but not with our LDA compliance filter. Using first-party data, we’ll indicate whether we have high confidence or some confidence that the creator’s audience is LDA compliant with green and yellow badges.

Confidence definitions explained: 

Facebook and Instagram audience demographic data breaks down into the following age groups:

13-17
18-24
25-34
45-54
55-64
65+

If a Creator is LDA Compliant (green badge with 2 checkmarks ✔️✔️ ) that means that they fulfilled the 71.6% requirement of followers age 21+ within the bolded groups below:

13-17
18-24
25-34
45-54
55-64
65+

If a creator is Likely LDA Compliant (yellow badge with 1 checkmark ✔️ ) that means that they nearly fulfilled the 71.6% requirement of followers age 21+ within the bolded groups above BUT they were a small % away from 71.6%. We can assume that within the 18-24 age group, a certain % will be 21-24, so we created a calculation that felt safe enough to assume the Creator’s following is LDA compliant.*

*We leave that determination up to the Brand, legally, as each legal team has a different POV.

How can I find the LDA Compliance tool?

From the search tool, click 'Show Filters' and select Instagram. You will see a box titled 'Instagram Audience Demographics' at the bottom of that box, you'll see LDA Compliant. Once you check this box, all of the results that populate will be Likely LDA Compliant or LDA Compliant.
